Apep used a supercollider on the layline in Alberta Canada to cause a space-time rift and bring Anubis back to life so he could kill the librarians . Anubis infected the personnel of the Canadian supercollider facility in order to create an army for Apep. The librarians used the supercollider to create other space-time rift to send Anubis back through.
