The Ley lines are lines of magical energy that go all around the Earth, spreading magic through it. Over the years the ley lines have slowly faded and their magic has been transferred into objects which later turned to artifacts. In "And the Sword in the Stone", Excalibur is put into the Stone of King Arthur by the Serpent Brotherhood in order to bring magic back to the world, restoring the ley lines and reawakening the mystical confluences. Later Prospero supercharges the ley lines making them even more powerful. After the ley lines were supercharged, objects started to turn into artifacts once more, such as Kirby Goulding's flower.
